Crete heraklion city

In the northern direction and within 1-2 km are the facilities of the University Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI), the University of Crete (UOC), the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) and the private rehabilitation center Olympion. At a distance of up to 3 km we find shops to cover almost all needs such as small and large supermarkets, fruit and vegetable shops, butchers, pharmacies, bakeries, patisseries, florists, ready-made and/or food and coffee takeaway/delivery shops, etc.

Northeast and at a distance of 6 km is the city of Heraklion, the capital of Crete with many tourist attractions such as the Venetian walls, the Venetian fortress of Koule, the Lions square that is a trademark of the city, many museums (archaeological, historical, natural history, etc.), shops for shopping, food, coffee and for any other need, banks, embassies, coastal front for walks and plenty of places for intense or non-intense rhythms of entertainment 24 hours a day. On the coastal front of the city is also the port of Heraklion with many direct connections to many other islands (such as Santorini, Milos, Mykonos, Ios, Rhodes, etc.) and the rest of the mainland through the port of Piraeus (Athens).

In the same direction and at a distance of only 10 km is the city airport with many connections to abroad and domestic destinations. Next to this we find a coastal front that stretches for many kilometers with many beautiful beaches for swimming and small or large settlements with shops for shopping, food, coffee and entertainment.
