Crete Places of interest

Northwest at just 5 km is the coastal area of Amoudara with many shops and the homonymous beach which extends to a length of 4 km. In the same direction and at a distance of about 8 km we meet the beach of Paleokastro and shortly after the tourist area of Agia Pelagia with several coves for swimming and several shops mainly for food.

To the east, at about 7 km, is the palace of Knossos, one of the most important archeological monuments of the world heritage that is definitely worth visiting.

To the west is the mountain of Psiloritis with many traditional villages for excursions and food, nature trails for walking or hiking, natural landscapes, gorges, rivers, caves and of course endless views in all directions of Crete.

Southwest at a distance of 4 km is the traditional village of Voutes, while continuing at 15 km we will find at the foot of Psiloritis the picturesque and traditional town of Asites with taverns such as Taverna Earino, winery such as Diamantakis Winery and the tourist stone-built accommodation Asion Lithos. The E4 path passes through Asites, while there is also a mountain refuge at 1100 meters.

To the south there are also several points of interest such as traditional villages, Zaros lake and the forest of Rouvas, the archaeological site of Phaistos where the famous disk of Phaistos was found, Matala and of course countless beaches that will cover the most demanding explorer.

For easy movement to and from all points of interest you are recommended to use a means of transport. Free spacious parking is available outside the Suites. Taxi services from partner companies at affordable prices are also possible.
